St. Patrick’s Day Party
My, my, my. Oh the joy of St. Patrick’s Day. Funny thing is on the actual holiday of St. Patrick’s Day I was in the most anti-social mood possible. There was a huge party going on around me, and all I could bring myself to do was sit in the recliner, with my sweatpants and glasses on and read a book. This is not like me at all, but for some reason I was content just sitting and observing everyone else doing their thing. I ended up going to bed in the middle of the big party, even though I did not have class the next morning. That upcoming Friday though, was a completely different story. Sigma Chi always has the biggest St. Patrick’s Day party possible. It was unreal. All of my sorority sisters, all my friends, everyone was there. The Sigma Chi house was packed, you had to go through security and sign a list with your name on it just to be able to go in. There was dancing all in the living room, they had hired an awesome DJ to play music all night, they had a nice setup outside for everyone to hang out and catch some air, they had certain rooms filled with groups of people just talking and relaxing, it was awesome. I have never had so much fun in my entire life. After the party (around two a.m.) there was a big group of us that decided to go to Waffle House. Going to Waffle House is always an adventure, you always see someone you know and the waiter always remembers the interesting ones. After getting a ton of food for a very cheap price, we all decided to go home and crash, only to do it all over again the next morning, minus the humongous crowd from the night before.
